Consolidated Energy Consultants Ltd. (CECL) has been associated with the Wind Energy Programme of the country from very beginning and the group has more than 37 years of field experience.
CECL offers the most comprehensive range of services right from conceptualization to commissioning and even beyond.
CECL has offered its services to virtually all types of stake-holders which include International Agencies and Institutions, Central and State Govt. Agencies including State Nodal Agencies & IREDA/MNRE, Regulatory Commission, large Public & Private Sector organizations.
CECL’s credibility is now well established through large number of projects already functional where its generation estimation has been observed to be quite accurate.
CECL has itself installed a dozen of Anemometry Masts in various States and has validated its theoretical assessment of Wind Resource to identify number of sites in virgin area.
CECL has been active in all major windy states of the country and has also conducted Wind Resource Assessment studies in Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nepal and Srilanka.
Amidst stiff competition, the Asian Development Bank entrusted an assignment to CECL for Preparation of Business Plan for development of 500 MW Wind Power Projects in India.

The specialty of CECL’s services is its preference for field study and investigation rather than only desk top analysis.
The strength of the company lies in its enormous experience. The technical multi-disciplinary team has more than 554 man-years of cumulative field experience – out of which 290 man-years is exclusively related to Wind Energy Sector.
Besides having large number of Internationally acclaimed softwares, CECL has itself developed many more issue specific softwares.
CECL has also been associated with the Repowering of old Windfarms having less efficient low rated Wind Turbine Generators.

Formation of the first and so far the only Joint Sector Company – M.P. Windfarms Limited (MPWL) – for development of Wind Power estates –with equity participation of Govt. of India (through IREDA) and State Govt. of M.P. (through M.P.U.V.N). Two projects under this organization have provided us the unique experience of Operation and Maintenance.
Publication of Annual Directory on Wind Power since year 2001 containing very useful information on various aspects of development of Indian Wind Power.
The first web-site of the country on wind power – www.windpowerindia.com was launched in year 2000 and is being constantly updated.
Conducted Orientation Programmes for Senior Executives of PSUs, Students and the delegates of major IPPs.
CECL has recently launched RE-PORT – The Renewable Energy Project Transaction Portal (www.re-port.in), India’s first and exclusive RE Project transaction platform.
