As per the information provided by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, installed capacity of wind power projects in India has reached to 50037.82 MW as on 31st March 2025. This means during FY 2024-25, an aggregate capacity of 4151.31 MW has been added from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025. It is noted that during FY 2024-25 Karnataka state has added highest capacity of around 1331 MW.
