It is learnt that Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited to develop a 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.

The project, set to be commissioned within 24 months, will be spread across multiple locations in India and is expected to generate approximately 1,300 million units (MUs) of clean electricity annually.
