It is learnt that The Indian energy company SJVN has unveiled the winners of its latest tender to procure 1.2 GW of ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid capacity. Gentari Renewables secured 400 MW, while Juniper Green and EG Energy won 300 MW each. In addition, Sunsure Energy secured 130 MW and Datta Infra 70 MW. All bids were awarded at a tariff of INR3.19/kWh. The projects will be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis and SJVN will enter into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the winning developers for purchase of power for a period of 25 years.
