It is learnt that, NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, has launched a tender for the development of a 960 MW Interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind energy project in India's State of Karnataka. The tender includes the supply & installation of wind turbines generators (WTGs) for the project.
