It is learnt that Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) has planned to generate 14,000MW of energy from solar, wind and hydro-power projects by 2026-27, taking the total to about 24,000MW renewable energy capacity in the coming years. This includes allocating 5,000MW from solar projects and 4,500MW each from wind and hydro-power projects.
