As per the information provided by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, installed capacity of wind power in India is 36686.82 MW as on 31st July 2019.

As per MNRE, during the financial year 2019-20, an aggregate capacity of 1060.86 MW wind power has been added from April 2019 to July 2019. The target for 2019-20 is 3000 MW.
