It is learnt that IL & FS has decided to sell off its renewable energy assets comprising Wind and Solar in India and they intend to invite Expression of Interest from interested parties. As per the available information through news paper the companies which have shown interest in acquiring the assets include Statkraft, Squared Capital, Actis, Macqarie and Hinduja Group.

The wind power assets include 873.5-MW operating wind park portfolio and 104 MW of under-construction wind farms.
